DIN EN ISO 9001:2015
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has created the standard ISO 9001:2015 in the Technical Committee ISO/TC 176. With its entry into force in September 2015, the previous standard ISO 9000:2008 has been replaced.
Each organization persues an adequate objective. Thereby requirements and expectations of customers and other involved parties (employees, suppliers, owners, shareholders) play an important role. Furthermore, achieving a competitive advantage - in the most efficient and effective way - as well as achieving, maintaining, and improving the entire organizational performances and capabilities are of outstanding importance.
The application of management principles not only provides instant quality advantages, but also makes an important contribution to the cost and risk management. Benefit, cost and risk considerations are crucial for success.
The standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 describes 8 principles in order to achieve quality objectives, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. Those are applied throughout Quintec. Below the principles are summarized:
1. Customer orientation
As organizations depend on their customers it's essential to unerstand current and future customer requirements, to meet their needs, and to strive to exceed their expectations.
2. Leadership
Executives create the consistency between purpose and alignment of the organization. They should create and maintain an internal environment, in which people can fully be engaged in the achievemaet of the organization's goals.
3. Involvement of people
At all levels people are the essence of an organization. Their full involvement enables the organization to use their skills for the benefit of the organization.
4. Process oriented approach
A desired result is achieved more efficiently when activities and related resources are managed and directed as a process.
5. System oriented managment approach
To recognize, understand, guide and direct interrelated processes as a system contributes to the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization in achieving its goals.
6. Continuous Improvement
The continuous improvement of the overall performance of the organization constitutes a permanent objective of the organization.
7. Factual approach to decision making
Effective decisions are based on the analysis of data and information.
8. Supplier relationships for mutual benefit
An organization and its suppliers are interdependent. A mutually beneficial relationship enhances the ability to create added value on both sides.
