Foundation of Quintec Automatisierungstechnik GmbH by the shareholders Armin Hieber, Thomas Kroiß, Joachim Löw, and Stefan Vömel.


May2000
Consistent further development of Quintec Siemens S7 software standards and confirmation as Siemens Certified Solution Provider.


March  2001
For the first time, Quintec GmbH employs more than 10 employees.


May 2001
Change of the company's name to Quintec Automatisierungs- und Datentechnik GmbH and an associated expansion of the portfolio on network and data technology services and components.


August 2003
Certification of the management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000.

June 2005
Relocation to the new headquarters in Pleidelsheim near Stuttgart.


July 2007
Certification as specialized firm according to the Water Management Act (WHG).

September 2007
Establishment of our own manufacturing department for electrical control cabinets and systems engineering.

October 2007
Opening of a customer office at Robert Bosch GmbH in Stuttgart-Feuerbach.

January 2008
Opening of a customer office at Daimler AG at the transmission factory in Gaggenau.
From here, the customer sites Gaggenau, Rastatt, Kuppenheim, and Wörth are looked after.

April 2008
Quintec GmbH employs more than 30 employees.

November 2009
Certification of the management system according to the new DIN EN ISO 9001:2008.

January 2011
Division of the company into the business segments automation and manufacturing technology.

June 2012
Establishment of the division energy efficiency.

October 2012
Founding of Quintec Energy Inc. in Charlotte, North Carolina with the aim to provide energy saving and energy efficiency concepts to the US market.


October 2012
Start of licensing for the MeteoViva Forecast Control for heating and air-conditioning systems of large commercial properties. Due to the unique, daily optimization, the system reduces energy consumption by up to 44% and increases comfort through precise setting of the desired indoor climate.

April 2013
Two Quintec employees successfully qualify as European Energy Managers.
